A lifelong Killeen native, Dr. Valerie Marten-Ellis graduated from Rice University in Houston before moving north to study optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston Massachusetts. While in Boston, she experienced eye care in a variety of settings, including retail, Veterans’ Affairs hospitals, and community clinics.
After returning to Texas, she is excited to serve her home community with quality eye exams, and providing the best contact lens fittings possible. Dr. Marten-Ellis’ top priority is communication with her patients and helping them achieve their best and most comfortable vision.
In her spare time, she loves to draw, sew and care for her animals at home.
Dr. Litton is a Midwest native, growing up in Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan, majoring in biopsychology and neuroscience in 2019. She then received her doctorate and graduated with honors from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 2024. While pursuing her doctorate degree, Dr. Litton was a three-year member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and has received numerous scholarships for academic excellence. She is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Litton practices primary care optometry with an interest in contact lenses and dry eye management. In her free time she enjoys visiting national parks and hiking.
