Dr. Clayton Rutkowski is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He grew up in the small town of Karnes City, TX and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He then attended the University of Houston where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Rutkowski completed his first externship at Good Neighbor Community Clinic in Houston providing primary care and ocular disease diagnosis and management for the under-served members of the community. His second externship was at a San Antonio Vision Source, where he focused on primary care and contact lens fitting. Dr. Rutkowski has continued his work in private-practice optometry here in Elgin. He enjoys providing exceptional personalized eye care for the community in and around the city of Elgin. In his spare time, Dr. Rutkowski enjoys delving into astronomy, the occasional video game, fishing, and spoiling his dog Holly.
Dr. Litton is a Midwest native, growing up in Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan, majoring in biopsychology and neuroscience in 2019. She then received her doctorate and graduated with honors from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 2024. While pursuing her doctorate degree, Dr. Litton was a three-year member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and has received numerous scholarships for academic excellence. She is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Litton practices primary care optometry with an interest in contact lenses and dry eye management. In her free time she enjoys visiting national parks and hiking.
